If you're just dying to ride your very own electric skateboard, but just can’t afford one, InspireToMake.com may have the answer for you. Igor, the owner of InspireToMake.com, has come up with a pretty creative way to modify a regular skateboard by rigging the wheels to allow a flexible drill bit extender to be attached. Connect that to a cordless drill and voilà, you have an electric skateboard!
We're not necessarily 100% convinced it would really work all that well and would still recommend an inexpensive, but REAL electric skateboard like the MotoTec 600W On-Road Electric Skateboard, which is only $447 (on sale) here on ElectricRideables.com, but we absolutely give Igor props for his ingenuity!
